Job summary

Village on Morehead in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated dining attendant to greet residents, take and deliver orders, and ensure a superb dining experience. You will help set up tables, maintain cleanliness, and assist the kitchen as needed.

The role requires an accredited food handler certification within 60 days, a High School Diploma or GED preferred, and 6 months to 1 year of related experience. Weekend and holiday availability is required for this full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for meals and events.

• Respond to resident requests and maintain high dining experience standards.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.

Pay Rate

$17.00/hr. - $18.00/hr.

Full Time Schedule

Monday - Friday

Shift: 6:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. | 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. | 4:00p.m. - 8:00p.m.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them.
• Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
