Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking enthusiastic Servers to deliver exceptional dining service in our senior living community. You will welcome residents and guests, take orders, serve meals, and help ensure memorable experiences during meals and events.

This full-time role at The Village at The Triangle offers a $16.00/hour pay rate, a 5-on, 2-off schedule (11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.), a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits including 401K, PTO, healthcare, and more.

Qualifications

• Must obtain an accredited food handler certification within 60 days.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests with a smile and seat them.
• Take food orders, present to kitchen, and deliver meals promptly.
• Ensure order accuracy and proper food presentation.
• Respond to resident and guest requests to enhance dining experience.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation standards in the dining room.
• Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking as needed.
• Support safety by removing walkers from dining area and returning after meals.
• Explain menu choices to residents and guests.
• Attend training sessions and participate in emergency response team activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them.
• Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
