Job summary

LaBelle Winery is seeking an energetic server/bartender to greet guests, take orders, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to deliver accurate orders and wine pairings, while maintaining a welcoming ambiance during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Applicants should have prior guest-service experience in fast-paced settings, and be comfortable handling money and operating a POS system.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; bartending/server experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, fine dining or hospitality.
• Able to operate a POS system and handle money accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and maintain a welcoming dining ambiance.
• Take orders and coordinate with kitchen and bar for accuracy.
• Provide food, wine, and beverage recommendations to guests.
• Resolve guest issues promptly to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Assist with clearing and setting tables for groups and special events.
• Operate Toast POS and handle routine purchasing transactions.

Job description

Successful candidate will be personable, engaging, and highly energetic individual with a passion for customer service. Excellent representation of the LaBelle Winery brand is imperative for success. Schedule: Evenings/Days/Weekends/Holidays

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests with a smile and welcoming attitude
• Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic manner.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Taking customer food and drink orders
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct orders
• Retaining/memorizing the menu, and provide recommendations for food, wine or beverages.
• Deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly.
• Assist with tidying of tables and clearing tables, setting tables, and assembling utensils.
• Set tables and arrange dining areas to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special occasions
• Handling routine purchasing transactions including operating cash registers
• Operate point of sale system; Toast
• Prepare other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience providing excellent customer serves in a fast paced, fine dining environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to well under pressure in collaboration with support staff and kitchen staff.
• Able perform high quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale system
• Must be able to lift 30lbs regularly
• Must be able to lift, carry and balance trays
• Must have ability to tolerate physical activity including standing for long periods, bending, walking and other physical activity.

Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Bartending and/or server experience (2 + years)
• Food service certificate (optional)
