Job summary

LaBelle Winery is seeking an energetic, personable hospitality team member to greet guests, assist with event service, and ensure a memorable experience. You will work closely with kitchen and bar staff, manage guest inquiries, and maintain high service standards in a fine dining setting.

Responsibilities include guest reception, menu memorization with recommendations, handling POS transactions, and supporting banquet setup and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in collaboration with support staff and kitchen staff.
• Ability to perform high-quality work unsupervised.
• Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale system.

Responsibilities

• Follow sanitation, safety and alcohol policies to protect guests and establishment.
• Assist with food and beverage requests and ensure timely service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for prompt orders.
• Learn and recite the event menu; offer wine/food recommendations.
• Refresh buffets and properly store banquet equipment.
• Deliver memorable event experiences by resolving guest issues promptly.
• Assist with tidying and clearing tables; set tables for larger groups.
• Handle routine purchasing transactions and operate the Toast POS system.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests with a smile and welcoming attitude
• Maintain event ambiance with an enthusiastic manner
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
• Ensuring food and beverage requests are met
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct orders
• Retaining/memorizing the event menu, and provide recommendations for food, wine or beverages
• Refreshen food and beverage buffets
• Properly storingand caring for banquet equipment
• Deliver a memorable event experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
• Assist with tidying of tables and clearing tables.
• Set tables and arrange event areas to accommodate larger groups and prepare for special occasions
• Handling routine purchasing transactions including operating cash registers
• Operate point of sale system; Toast

Qualifications:

• Experience providing excellent customer serves in a fast paced, fine dining environment
• A positive attitude and ability to well under pressure in collaboration with support staff and kitchen staff.
• Able perform high quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale system.

• Must be able to lift 45lbs regularly
• Must have ability to tolerate physical activity including standing for long periods, bending, walking and other physical activity.

Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Bartending and/or server experience (2 + years)
• Food service certificate
