Qualifications

• Experience as a Runner or similar entry-level role.
• Must follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Able to carry multiple plates and trays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Weekend shifts availability.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in busy periods.
• Effective communication with staff and customers.
• Must obtain required licensing or work cards.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
• Function as the contact point between Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests, including allergies.
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards, including proper temperature.
• Support wait staff with table setup by gathering and placing tableware, utensils, and napkins.
• Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed.
• Clear used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly to keep tables clean.
• Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests, such as when they ask for the check.
• Other duties as assigned.
