Job summary

Ian's Pizza in Madison, WI is hiring a part-time prep cook to start immediately. You’ll measure, mix, weigh, and prep dough, use a mixer and rounder for dough balls, and shred cheese while keeping a clean prep area.

No prior experience required beyond a willingness to work hard and have fun in a fast-paced kitchen. We offer a starting wage of $16/hour, with benefits for full-time staff, PTO, sick leave, retirement with up to 3% match, flexible schedules, and free pizza.

About the Role

You'll be measuring, mixing, weighing, and prepping dough like a pro!

You'll use a mixer and rounder to prepare dough balls for proofing, shred and prep cheese (aka pizza gold), and maintain a clean and organized prep area.

Our team is supportive and strongly believes that you can take pride in your work and have fun at the same time!

Job Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using industrial kitchen equipment, sharp knives, and other equipment of the business.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
• Availability for prep shifts from 8am-3pm Monday-Sunday. Part-time hours available.
