Ian's Pizza is hiring cooks in Madison, WI. We offer both part-time and full-time roles, with pay from $18 to $23 per hour and tips. You’ll learn dough handling, topping, and baking to craft legendary NY-style pies.

Responsibilities

• No experience is required, but prior line cook or pizza-making experience is a plus.

$18-$23/hour to cook up legendary NY-style pies in Madison, WI.

We're hiring part-time and full-time cooks to start immediately!

About the Role

Impress your friends and family with your pizza-making skills! From hand-stretching dough to topping and baking, we'll teach you everything you need to cook up one heck of a pizza pie.

You'll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you'll pitch in where needed to keep the kitchen and restaurant running smoothly.

No experience required, though previous line cook, dough-stretching, or pizza-making experience is a huge plus! We offer clear paths for growth, with ongoing training and opportunities for promotion.

Ian's Pizza is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, be ready to hustle on your shifts! The team will support you, and we'll have fun along the way. We pinky promise.

What We're Looking For

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.


• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.


• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.


• Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other equipment of the restaurant biz.


• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.


• Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.


• Must be 18+ years old to apply.


• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Scheduling

We're open Sunday-Wednesday 11am-10pm, Thursday 11am-2am, and Friday-Saturday 11am-2:30am! Some typical shift times for Cooks include lunch (9am-5pm), dinner (4/5pm-10pm/12am), and late nights (8pm/10pm-4am).

Late-night shifts (8pm/10pm-4am) are required once per week.

The action happens on evenings and weekends! The ovens are roaring, the line's bumping, and the energy's high. We'll need you in the mix!
