Job summary

ANCHOR POINT MANAGEMENT GROUP seeks an Assistant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Pendleton, OR. The AGM covers daytime hours, oversees operations, and trains teammates to uphold cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, and speed of service.

You will coach staff, hire and onboard new team members, monitor cash procedures, manage inventory, and drive profits through efficient staffing and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Come to work with good hygiene.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take their orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
• Offer ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Find, hire, and develop Taco Bell employees and guide new team members during onboarding.
• Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
• Report any serious issues to the manager and HR as needed.
• Conduct food safety and prep audits daily.
• Conduct daily inventory monitoring, performance analysis, and share responsibility for cash procedures.
• Assist with schedule creation and deploy the team correctly.
• Monitor speed of service and resolve bottlenecks to achieve goals.
• Monitor inventory and food preparation on a daily basis to adhere to company standards.
• Responsible for daily inventory, deliveries, restaurant opening and closing, and daily adjustments to shift staffing and crew deployment.
• Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses on a continual basis and take corrective action to meet or achieve margins and sales targets.
• Maintain day-to-day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening.
