Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead and develop staff, control daily operations, and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and reporting while maintaining food safety and guest satisfaction across shifts. A customer-focused leader with at least 1+ year of restaurant management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with annual sales > $1 million.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Assist Restaurant Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Prepare and package customer orders promptly to maximize service.
• Analyze financials and act on opportunities to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with Manager on talent acquisition.
