Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences in our Colorado restaurant. You will lead daily operations, manage schedules, and train Team Members while upholding CAVA standards for food quality and cleanliness.

You will oversee inventory, cost control, and profitability, support with financial reporting, and maintain a culture of service excellence and inclusivity across the team.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and teams.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage schedules, training, and performance feedback.
• Comfort with budgeting, cost control, and basic financial awareness.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA’s standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Assist with addressing Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing customer concerns promptly.
• Lead by example in customer service and teamwork to drive store success.
• Support with managing financial aspects including tracking sales, cash handling, and budgeting.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and action plans for improved performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
