Job summary

Burger King in Oswego, IL seeks an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations, focusing on profitability, guest service, people development, and daily management of a 20-45 person team.

The AM partners with the RGM to drive performance, coaching Shift Coordinators and Team Members to meet brand standards and service goals while ensuring efficient, accurate prep and delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability impact.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work long/irregular shifts for restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability through inventory management and cost controls.
• Ensure guest-centric service with fast, friendly operations.
• Provide coaching and feedback to Shift Coordinators and Team Members.
• Direct daily operations to meet speed of service and brand standards.
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when needed.
