Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a Restaurant Manager to assist the General Manager in directing the daily operation of the restaurant. You will oversee guest service, product preparation, inventory, hiring, training and staff development while upholding company standards and financial accountability.

You will lead TEAM Members to deliver prompt, friendly service, manage cost control, and ensure safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

Prior management experience in a similar organization.
College graduate with a two or four year degree in Hotel/Restaurant, Management, Business or associated field, who is entering the full time work force or has successfully demonstrated leadership abilities and business acumen in role of assistant manager.
Successfully demonstrated all required training associated with Management training, ongoing development as outlined by the training department.

Responsibilities

Directs daily operation of the restaurant to meet Company standards in product preparation, guest service, inventory, and financial accountability.
Leads and develops TEAM Members, conducts training, and evaluates performance on a regular basis.
Maintains control of costs and assets, ensures compliance with laws and Company policies.
Promotes teamwork and a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap and Core Values.
Performs routine maintenance and communicates needs to GM; supports scheduling and shift management.
