Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a Manager to assist the General Manager in directing daily restaurant operations and ensuring adherence to company standards across product, service, safety, inventory, and financial controls.

You will lead a team on a shift by shift basis, reinforce our core values, and drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction, staff development, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a similar organization.
• College degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related field.
• Completion of required management training.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall activities and performance of TEAM Members on a shift by shift basis.
• Breeds a culture using the Vision / Mission statement to guide Values.
• Maintains adequate departmental inventory levels.
• Effectively schedules TEAM Members to meet sales demands.
• Maintains effective safety and security programs according to Company policy and government standards.
• Promotes and manages restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Develops an environment of constant development of TEAM Members.
• Is responsible to the GM for the development of Assistant Managers, Kitchen Professionals and Key Hourly TEAM Members.
