RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to work alongside the GM and drive daily operations. This role is about leadership and accountability, not just closing duties, with emphasis on maintaining high service standards.

The AGM will run shifts, coach staff, and uphold restaurant quality, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth service throughout busy periods. Growth into a future GM is encouraged, with focus on operations and team development.

Qualifications

• Previous AGM, Restaurant Manager, or strong Service Manager experience.
• Experience in polished full-service or high-volume dining.
• Seafood or raw bar experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Excellent floor management and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM with daily restaurant operations.
• Independently run shifts and manage the restaurant.
• Coach and develop employees.
• Maintain service and hospitality standards.
• Assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and readiness; handle guest concerns and recovery.
• Assist with training and onboarding.
• Help maintain inventory and operational controls.
• Communicate issues and opportunities to the GM.
• Take ownership of problems and follow through to resolution.
