Job summary

Denny’s in Vineland, NJ is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to supervise 15–20 crew members, ensure proper execution of all restaurant operations on their shift, and provide guests with a great dining experience while upholding service and quality standards.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays as schedules rotate, focus on staff selection and retention, oversee P&L, cost controls, and ongoing operational improvements, and drive

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a tray weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift and grasp.
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment and respond to needs.
• Must be able to operate point-of-sale system and handle money.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15–20 crew members and ensure proper execution of restaurant operations on assigned shift.
• Support the General Manager in achieving guest satisfaction and brand standards.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and coaching hourly staff to meet service goals.
• Monitor and enforce sanitary practices and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist in controlling costs and maintaining profit goals through effective staff scheduling and operations.
