Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the restaurant general manager in daily operations, guest service, and profitability. You will help lead shifts, train staff, and ensure adherence to food safety standards while maintaining strong guest satisfaction and team engagement.

Responsibilities include supervising crew, managing schedules, overseeing cash handling and reports, and driving performance through effective communication and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in a restaurant.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate teams.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the restaurant general manager in opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and shift management.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety compliance.
• Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet service needs.
• Train and develop restaurant crew and shift managers.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain hospitality standards.
• Assist in managing finances, sales, inventory, and labor costs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for seamless operations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

ServSafe certification (advantage)
