Job summary

Ramen Tatsu-Ya in Houston is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations, oversee financial management, staffing, and guest satisfaction. You will drive process improvements, mentor teams, and maintain high standards of service and facilities.

Responsibilities include budgeting, payroll oversight, onboarding and training, and coordinating with vendors to ensure consistent operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
• Strong financial management skills, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities to coach staff.
• Ability to manage staff performance and implement effective training programs.
• Exceptional guest service skills with a commitment to high standards.
• Knowledge of facilities management and maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including financial management, staff development, guest satisfaction, and facility maintenance.
• Review financial reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate time entries and approvals.
• Manage onboarding, recruiting, and retention of staff.
• Ensure front-of-house staff are trained and uphold high service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback across channels.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors for procurement and maintenance.
