Job summary

Burger King in Texas seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and develop a high-performing team. You will support the RGM, manage 20-45 hourly staff, and ensure fast, friendly guest service in a clean environment.

The role requires leadership, P&L awareness, and flexibility to work evenings and holidays. Prior quick service and supervisory experience preferred to maintain brand standards and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years college preferred.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and how it affects profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and guest service orientation.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and long/irregular shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability through inventory control and cost management.
• Place and receive inventory truck orders and maintain asset lists.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment per standards.
• Adhere to cash handling and security procedures (cash drawers, safes).
• Motivate and coach shifts coordinators and team members to raise performance.
• Direct efficient preparation and sale of products and ensure brand standards.
