Job summary

Culinaire, a unit of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in the Miami area. The role oversees daily food service operations, trains staff, and supports leadership with financial responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of supervisory food service experience, luxury hotel exposure, and strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ServSafe is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 4 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Luxury hotel exp.
• Experience managing cost controls is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages all functional areas of the restaurant.
• Trains, manages, and develops hourly associates.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company culinary and marketing team.
• Oversees ordering, inventory and cost controls.
• Assists with catering events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
