Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead a high-volume team and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist in overseeing staff, maintaining operations, and executing strategies to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and operational excellence in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with opportunities to grow within a renowned travel-stop network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+ million.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. DOT physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Assist Restaurant Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Work with team to prepare and package customer orders promptly to meet service expectations.
• Analyze profit and loss statements and implement improvements to capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager on talent acquisition.
