Job summary

Phelan Family Brands in Naples, FL is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure recipes are followed, and deliver our best-in-class service while maintaining food safety standards.

You will hire and discipline staff, balance cash, open/close, supervise servers, bartenders, and kitchen duties, and focus on guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and cost control to support profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to train and develop staff across front-of-house and back-of-house roles.
• Knowledge of food safety and beverage specifications.
• Proven track record in cost control and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Hire, fire, and discipline team members.
• Open and close the restaurant, balance funds, and complete paperwork.
• Open/close procedures for kitchen and dining areas.
• Perform multiple roles (server, support, bartending, kitchen) as needed.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Monitor alcohol service and prevent intoxicated guests from leaving.
• Strive to exceed guests’ expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Relocate to new or existing locations as needed.
• Communicate with other managers via emails and logbook.
• Follow procedures in the manager reference binder.
• Coach and mentor peers and team members positively.
• Foster a safe, harassment-free work environment.
