Job summary

WKS Restaurant Group, operator of Denny's, seeks a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and team leadership. You will oversee guest service, safety, and financial performance, ensuring efficient service and adherence to brand standards across shifts.

The role requires 1–2 years supervisory restaurant experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain it. Flexible scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety practices.
• ServSafe certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and ability to support nearby restaurant locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members; support hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations across dining room, kitchen, and service areas.
• Monitor guest service and maintenance of brand standards.
• Assist with labor planning, scheduling, and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and facility standards; support inventory and reporting.
• Stand in as leader on duty and communicate effectively with guests and staff.
