Job summary

The LINE DC is seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of the restaurant, coffee shop, and in-room dining, guiding a high‑performing team with integrity and a guest‑first mindset.

You will partner with culinary, marketing, and community teams to drive guest experiences, profitability, and growth while maintaining compliance, quality, and a vibrant, collaborative culture in Adams Morgan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
At least 3 years in a leadership role in the restaurant industry.
Understanding of the Washington, DC market preferred.
Experience in high‑volume dining and fine dining background preferred.
Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular) and F&B software systems (i.e. POS and F&B procurement system).
Cost control and financial management.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multitask.
Work well under pressure, be a team player.

Responsibilities

Oversee restaurant, coffee shop, and in‑room dining operations.
Manage floor shifts, openings and closings to ensure quality and efficiency.
Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing team; ensure certifications are current.
Oversee beverage program in collaboration with the beverage team.
Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and social media teams on menus and promotions.
Monitor costs, inventory, and labor; drive profitability and compliance.
Lead regular team meetings to communicate goals and mentorship.
