Job summary

Circle K in Rome, GA is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee to prepare for the Restaurant Manager role. During a designated training period, the RMT may oversee day-to-day operations for up to 90 days, reporting to the Restaurant District Manager.

You will hire and onboard staff, maintain food safety standards, manage cash and inventory, and implement Brand campaigns while living Circle K values.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred.
• Open availability required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivates, coaches, and leads team members.
• Acts with integrity; keeps commitments.
• Team player; works well with others or independently.
• Able to bend, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service in a fast, friendly manner; coach and correct team members as necessary.
• Recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard for all positions.
• Maintain a clean restaurant environment; delegate duties and ensure completion.
• Establish build to’s and maintain production management systems.
• Ensure all food items meet Brand, Company, and health department standards; supervise production.
• Coach team members to follow food preparation guidelines.
• Train team on Brand and Company standards continuously.
• Communicate information to the district manager and maintain the information board.
• Implement Brand campaigns and conduct new product training.
• Monitor cash, sales, and inventory records for accuracy.
• Complete daily, weekly, and period paperwork; schedule and truck orders.
• Maintain a safe environment and report issues to maintenance.
• Lead performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
