Job Summary

This position prepares the candidate for the Restaurant Manager role. After training, the Restaurant Manager Trainee (RMT) may manage the daily operations of a designated restaurant for up to 90 days, overseeing people, operations, and financial metrics. Reports to the Restaurant District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and coach team members
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard staff
• Maintain cleanliness and delegate duties
• Manage food production and ensure compliance with standards
• Train team on brand and company standards
• Implement campaigns and conduct product training
• Ensure food safety, quality, and operational standards
• Maintain accurate cash, sales, and inventory records
• Communicate with district manager
• Complete administrative tasks, including paperwork and inventory
• Ensure safety and report issues
• Complete incident reports
• Manage financial and operational metrics for profitability
• Conduct team check-ins and recognize performance
• Apply progressive discipline when needed
