Position Overview

This position prepares the candidate for the Restaurant Manager role. After training, the Restaurant Manager Trainee (RMT) may manage day-to-day operations of a designated restaurant for up to 90 days, with responsibilities including people, operations, and financial metrics. Reports to the Restaurant District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and coach team members
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard staff
• Maintain cleanliness and delegate duties
• Manage food production and ensure compliance with standards
• Train team members on brand and company standards
• Implement campaigns and conduct training
• Ensure food safety, quality, and operational standards
• Monitor cash, sales, and inventory records
• Communicate with district manager
• Complete administrative duties
• Ensure a safe environment and report issues
• Complete incident reports
• Own financial and operational metrics for profitability
• Conduct team check-ins and recognize performance
• Apply progressive discipline as needed

Qualifications

• 1-2 years restaurant management experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid Driver’s License
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred
• Open availability
