Job summary

JF Restaurants in New York City is seeking a Floor Manager for The Terrace & Outdoor Gardens Restaurant inside the Time Square Edition Hotel. The role oversees front-of-house operations and collaborates with back-of-house to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities include managing the floor during peak times, training staff, recruiting and scheduling, and addressing guest feedback. NYC Food Protection License and Forbes luxury standards knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Experience with event execution.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Familiarity with Forbes service standards and luxury hospitality expectations.
• Basic wine knowledge with guest recommendations.

JF Restaurants by Michelin-Starred and Award-winning Chef John Fraser isseeking a Floor** Manager**at The Terrace & Outdoor Gardens Restaurant inside of the Time Square Edition Hotel.

TheFloor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Front of House operations and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures and works concurrently with Back of House ensuring a successful operation. Interacts with the dining room guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Actively manage the floor during peak service times and events to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Assist intraining and supervisingstaff, ensuring they provide top-notch service.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and scheduling staff.
• Conduct pre-service meetings withstaff to finalize details and expectations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain high visibility duringservice to provide support and address any issues.
