Job summary

Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks in Boston seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations across three concepts—Eastern Standard, Equal Measure, and Standard Italian—while partnering with leadership to drive service excellence and guest relations.

Responsibilities include managing FOH teams, opening/closing shifts, event support, and contributing to a high-energy, guest-focused environment with opportunities for bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Years Experience Working In Restaurant Management Preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of a team of FOH members
• Participate in restaurant opening and closing shifts as restaurant manager
• Lead by example to guide and empower the FOH staff on the floor, maintaining a hands on presence throughout each service
• Focus on ensuring proper steps of service are being followed across all FOH stations and staff: on the door, tableside and support
• Champion guest relations: focus on cultivating meaningful relationships with guests through impactful guest interactions with the goal of creating returning diners and regulars
• Develop and implement guest relations initiatives across all three spaces
• Assist with private event execution
• Take part in special projects as necessary
