Job summary

A&W Restaurants (Okanagan Burger Company Ltd.) in Vernon, BC, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to start immediately. The role oversees all restaurant operations, drives guest satisfaction, and ensures compliance with company standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of supervisory or restaurant management experience, strong leadership, and financial acumen to manage P&L, scheduling, and costs while mentoring a motivated team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in restaurants - Restaurant Management or supervisory roles are an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Expertise in all restaurant operating systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly P&L performance including cost of goods, labour costs, and operating expenses.
• Maintain A&W operational standards and conduct regular performance reviews; identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Recruit and hire hourly staff; participate in hiring supervisors and assistant managers.
• Lead restaurant meetings and support effective communication.
• Develop and manage staff scheduling to meet labour targets and support smooth operations.
• Ensure payroll and scheduling practices comply with employment standards.
