Flynn Group, the Applebee’s franchise operator, seeks an Assistant Manager in Worcester, MA, to lead daily restaurant operations and team development. You will ensure guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards while managing inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.

The role requires 2–3 years of management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Serve Safe certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Serve Safe Food and Alcohol certifications (a plus).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering timely, friendly service and upholding Applebee’s standards.
• Managing inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.
• Recruiting, training, and developing team members.
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
• Supporting operational excellence—from line checks to accurate paperwork.
• Jumping in wherever needed—cooking, bartending, or greeting guests.
