InterContinental Hotels Group in Chicago is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to supervise service operations, monitor shift performance and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and efficient processes.

You will collaborate with the General Manager on P&L reviews, lead staff development, and implement marketing and promotions while maintaining high food and beverage standards.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years prior experience at the manager level or above.
• Prior hands-on experience performing the majority of the areas of responsibility described above
• Passionate & humble about service

Responsabilidades

• Supervises, monitors and participates in service operations during an assigned shift.
• Regularly interacts with guests to ensure quality experience, handle special requests, answer questions and/or resolve problems.
• Focus on controlling labor and beverage costs, review of the P&L with the General Manage and identify areas of improvement.
• Contribute in managing staff and/or restaurant manager performance through feedback, coaching and evaluations.
• Participate in marketing and promotion strategies as directed.
• Leads and participates in interviewing, hiring and training of new hourly service staff; also leads ongoing training of existing staff.
• May be assist as lead manager for all beverage programs, menus and costs.
• Performs operational/admin functions (opening/closing, pre-shifts, scheduling, inventory, orders, POS usage, etc.).
• Attends internal/external meetings relating to restaurant operation.
• Ensures maintenance of service areas, equipment and manager offices.
• Controls, analyze and create plans of action for guest satisfaction, operating costs, sanitation, and safety.
• Complies with workplace safety requirements.
• Performs other duties and suggests improvements.
• May perform General Manager duties when needed.
• Performs employee evaluations and provides feedback.
