Job summary

South City Kitchen Midtown, part of Fifth Group Restaurants in Atlanta, seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations across Midtown, Buckhead, and Vinings. You will oversee daily service, coaching, schedules, and guest satisfaction, ensuring consistent food and beverage execution.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in full-service restaurant management, strong P&L acumen, and proven ability to mentor managers while meeting sales and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Three years of restaurant management experience in full-service venues.
• Leadership, coaching, and teaching abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting sales and cost targets, and developing managers.
• Adept in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Solid understanding of P&L concepts, reporting and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening).
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hold hourly staff accountable through timely feedback and coaching during ongoing training sessions.
• Educate staff on Fifth Group values, mission, and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Execute new hire training and provide ongoing support.
• Enforce all Fifth Group policies and procedures for managers and staff.
• Maintain proper staffing levels for all shifts during your duty.
• Demonstrate understanding of budgeting, finances, and contribute to unit financial goals.
• Oversee cash handling, including banking, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Supervise staff and management to achieve budgeted costs in labor, food, beverage, and controllables.
• Plan shifts effectively, manage floor coverage, and ensure a clean, well-maintained dining room.
• Provide management coverage to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Proactively address guest complaints and recover service promptly.
• Develop guest relationships through table visits and recognition of regulars.
