Whataburger is hiring a Restaurant Manager to oversee a high-volume location and a sizeable team. You will drive guest satisfaction, food quality, and operational excellence while mentoring Family Members to reach their potential.

You will lead daily operations, partner with leadership, and champion safety and hospitality, with opportunities for career growth across the Whataburger organization.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older requirement.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and dependable attendance.
• Stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or ability to obtain during training).
• Valid driver’s license with adequate liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet quality, service and cleanliness standards.
• Champion hospitality and guest service, ensuring friendly and fast service.
• Coach, develop and support team members to reach potential.
• Achieve goals for sales, labor, food cost and profitability.
• Ensure food safety and workplace safety, upholding brand standards.
• Model Whataburger values and create an inclusive work environment.
• Lead shifts and ensure smooth operations across day parts.
• Support talent development, training, hiring and retention with leadership.
• Assist in business planning, performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
