Not Your Average Joe’s is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in a full-service setting in Ardmore, PA. The role covers front-of-house, back-of-house, and line duties, reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with the Chef to drive quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, extensive F&B knowledge, and experience using restaurant management software.

Qualifications

Not Your Average Joe's is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager! Experience managing a FULL SERVICE restaurant is required.

Job Overview

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in the dining room as well as the kitchen. This management position will require being able to run shifts in the FOH as well as the HOH, working on the line included. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all hourly positions, providing leadership and ensuring the consistent execution of our quality standards, proper recipe adhearance, operating systems, procedures, philosophies, and culture. You will work closely with the General Manager and Chef, assisting in marketing and playing a pivotal role in overall financial results of the restaurant. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and team-oriented individual with a passion for making a difference in the hospitality industry.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensuring that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times
• Interviews, trains, counsels, and coaches staff
• Ensures all training materials, development and schedules are being followed
• Clearly communicating with all Team Members
• Ensures a harassment-free environment for all Team Members
• Manages and makes adjustments to labor on a shift-to-shift basis while ensuring we don't harm the Guest experience
• Achieves budgeted sales and profit goals
• Maintaining operational excellence so our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively
• Ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed
• Creating a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy
• Various other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in a FULL SERVICE restaurant as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Great leadership skills
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
• Exhibits a neat, clean, and professional image at all times
• Genuinely hospitable, warm, sensitive, and polite to our Guests
• Excellent problem resolution/Guest recovery skills
• Attention to detail/organized
• Able to work while standing and moving at a rapid pace for 10 hours as the job requires
