Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Controls food, labor, cash, and controllable expenses per guidelines and budgeted levels.
• Works to drive positive sales growth by improving 5 Bells, CORE, speed of service and food quality.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels for all days and shifts to meet scheduling needs.
• Performs hiring for crew, shift leaders, and assistant general managers; conducts performance appraisals.
• Coaches and counsels crew and managers to meet certifications and performance levels.
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and organization; follows sanitation guidelines and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Verifies restaurant environment is safe and takes corrective action when needed.
• Ensures preventative maintenance for equipment and facilities; reports needs.
• Delivers excellent guest service and handles complaints to promote repeat business.
• Provides feedback to area coach via daily calls and weekly area meetings.
• Manages turnover through effective selection and training and positive work environment.
• Prepares food for guests and training purposes as well as handling cash register when required.
