Job summary

Shoney’s is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our restaurant in Tennessee. You will deliver a high-quality menu, motivate staff for excellent service, and ensure revenue, profitability and quality goals are met.

Back-of-house and front-of-house leadership is essential, including hiring cooks and wait staff, supervising shifts, and enforcing sanitation standards. Training and staff development are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

  • Back of the house management experience required.
  • Ability to hire cooks and wait staff.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Strong leadership and people skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety regulations and sanitation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for in-store supplies and how to order on system.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant’s good image
  • Control operational costs
  • Responsible for annual revenues and expenses
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Learn, operate, and teach POS Point of Sale System.
  • Learn how to hire quality staff.
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills required

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals.

We need hard-working, dedicated, honest, neat, organized and pleasant leaders to take our company into the future. We have a management training system to teach you how to operate a Shoney’s restaurant.

Back of the house management experience is essential, as you’ll hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.

Compensation

· Starting salary based on prior experience.

· Opportunities for advancement to Restaurant Executive Manager.

Job Type– Full-time

Hours - Manager Trainees work 3 months on a training period for all shifts and positions. Weekends are required.

Expected Hours Per Week:

Full-Time: 50 Hours

Pay:

Starting at: $900/Week
