Job summary

Refuel is seeking a Restaurant Manager for an assigned location in North Carolina. You will lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and manage a team to ensure efficiency and compliance.

The role is full-time, with flexible hours including evenings and some holidays. Travel up to 10% may be required, and you will be accountable for inventory control, safety standards, and accurate daily financial close.

Qualifications

• Food service/safety experience.
• Good leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Two years’ experience managing a quick-service restaurant.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must travel up to 10%.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a great guest experience with hot, fresh, delicious products.
• Manage and develop employees, ensuring cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
• Enforce food safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when needed.
• Rotate and store perishables to maintain freshness and minimize spoilage.
• Actively recruit and staff to meet budgeted hours without overtime.
• Control inventory to reduce shortages.
• Balance daily close-out paperwork and conduct weekly cash audits.
• Count merchandise on receipt and follow Vendor Check In policy.
• Adhere to company policies and employee handbook.
