Restaurant Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Creating an exceptional service experience and prioritizing hospitality for our guests
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
  • Hiring and training restaurant staff following company policies & procedures
  • Upholding standards for food preparation and service
  • Addressing guest concerns or solving problems
  • Creating work schedules for restaurant staff
  • Controlling operational costs, taking inventories, and ordering supplies
  • Facility management and staff performance appraisal
Restaurant Manager Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dining Room Manager in a table-service restaurant
  • Current Food Safety and Sanitation certification
  • Current Alcohol Training certification
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work with diverse staff, vendors, and guests
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and beverage service
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of POS and bookkeeping systems
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel for 35-45 days for management training
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to work 45-55 hour weeks based on operational needs
  • Exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • Reliable transportation
  • High stamina to work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Must be 21 years or older
