Affiliated with Starr Restaurants, El Presidente is a festive, neo-retro Mexican eatery anchored inside Washington, D.C’s newly-developed Signal House. A robust and creative menu highlights heirloom ingredients with a modern twist - a raw bar, guacamole with king crab, a la carte tacos and shareable plates like Tomahawk Ribeye and Whole Grilled Fish. Bright agave-forward tequila and mezcal cocktails dovetail with interconnected dining rooms, eclectic interiors and legendary south-of-the-border hospitality. The team is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager! The ideal candidate will be excited about a diverse and eclectic menu and wine program, staff education, and managing the restaurant team.

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, service-driven restaurant
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Experience hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse hourly FOH staff
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
• A positive and self-motivated disposition with a commitment to excellence and team success
