Job summary

Tommy Bahama invites a Restaurant General Manager to Hawaii to lead operations and guest service with the island lifestyle philosophy. You will partner with the GM to design and streamline restaurant processes while ensuring policy compliance and a safe, engaging work environment.

You’ll hire, mentor, and deliver ongoing training, monitor performance, and drive results. You’ll explore community marketing opportunities and collaborate with retail partners.

• Frequent bending, stooping and kneeling.
• Prolonged standing during shifts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop/streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the General Manager while ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures
• Hire and mentor the best and brightest, assisting employees with career development strategies to understand Tommy Bahama values
• Facilitate implementation of company learning/training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job
• Partner with GM in order to implement strategies to increase qualified applicants, including but not limited to proactively recruiting. Thoughtfully hire, develop, and mentor the team
• Ensure consistent execution of Company policies and procedures
• Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests. Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment
• Seek out marketing opportunities within the community and partner with retail to leverage the relationship during marketing and sales events

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Safely maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs

Rate Range: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 Annually

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
