Job Requirements

Mason Street Grill is searching for a Restaurant Manager who takes pride in both the presentation of the ambiance and cuisine within Mason Street Grill. The ideal candidate knows how to manage associates seamlessly, while ensuring all guests' needs are exceeded. Possessing professional leadership and administration skills, effective and fair personnel development, and maintaining the highest standards in the restaurant resulting in increased teamwork and morale. Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee has become a local favorite for delicious steak, great hand-crafted cocktails, and jazz music. Responsibilities

1. Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in supervising food servers, bus persons, hosts, expeditors, and other staff regarding schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety.
2. Ensure restaurant compliance with sanitation and safety standards, check equipment, and maintain appealing facilities.
3. Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline staff for efficient operations.
4. Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicate pertinent information.
5. Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction, interact with guests for feedback, and resolve conflicts.
6. Manage inventory, forecast usage, and ensure the restaurant is stocked appropriately.
7. Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, survey competition, and report food trends.
8. Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and support restaurant policies and procedures.
