Job summary

Boulder View Tavern in Lake Harmony, PA, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and uphold Troon’s hospitality standards.

You will supervise service staff, maintain quality, manage cash, and help drive revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction at this fast-paced property.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. General Purpose:

Develops,implementsandmaintainsquality standards for restaurantfacility, including supervision and direction of service staff. Ensures excellent customer service standardsaremaintained.

  • Organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
  • Ensures that the restaurant and restaurant facilitiesare keptclean,well stockedand organized. Checks the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and schedules needed maintenance and repair.
  • Circulates throughout the restaurant facilities and kitchen areas to visuallymonitorandtake action to ensurefood quality and service standards are met.
  • Greetsguests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction attention to guest needs.
  • Ensures established cash handling proceduresareutilizedto accurately charge customers.
  • Creates revenue forecasts and reports. Monitorsrestaurantbudget.
  • Oversees daily restaurant activities toinclude:serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, roomserviceand general clerical/cashier duties.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Manages department members that mayinclude, butis not limitedto:Food and Beverage Supervisor, Host, Server, Cashier.
  • Assures that effective orientation and trainingare givento each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs and tests for comprehension.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Education/Experience:

Associate’s degree (AA); or six months toone yearrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks and hears.Regularly useshands, reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches,tasteor smells.Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally works in extreme heat, wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.Noiselevel is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafeCertified Food Manager (Food & Alcohol) or TIPSequivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
  • Ability to read and speak English may berequiredin order toperform the duties of the job (the associates maybe requiredto communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Working knowledge of wine,spiritsand regional cuisines
  • Demonstrates Leadership ability including skills to communicate and express ideas and directives clearly to associates
  • Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills
  • Strong multi-tasking,organizationaland time management skills to ensure a quick response to client needs.
