Responsibilities
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
- Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
- Manage shifts, including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning, while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
- Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues, develop employees through ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations, and conduct performance reviews
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of senior-level management experience in an upscale / fine dining establishment
- Extensive front of house knowledge; advanced knowledge of financial aspects
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Stable and progressive work history; strong work ethic
