Job summary

Ireland’s Four Provinces, a classic Irish pub in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a service‑oriented manager with extensive leadership experience in a high‑volume restaurant. The role focuses on delivering memorable dining experiences, guiding staff on service standards, and fostering a respectful, productive team environment.

Responsibilities include floor leadership, staff training, planning events for up to 250 guests, assisting with purchasing, payroll and inventory, and providing service

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and guest-service orientation.
• Ability to train staff to meet and exceed service standards.
• Experience planning and executing events up to large guest counts.
• Familiarity with purchasing, payroll and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timing, steps of service, speed and efficiency; stay on the floor during service.
• Train staff consistently to meet service standards and maintain open communication.
• Plan, organize and execute events for up to 250 guests.
• Assist with purchasing, track sales, run payroll, and actively manage inventory.
• Offer service support as needed; bartending experience is preferred.
• Lead by example by adhering to policy, procedures and code of conduct.
• Prevent and diffuse situations that may risk the business.
• Ensure the restaurant operates efficiently every shift of every day.
