Job summary

The Capital Grille in Clayton, MO seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead department-level operations of a high-volume upscale restaurant. You will drive guest satisfaction and ensure execution through our systems and Darden Core Values.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of salaried management experience, a passion for culinary excellence and wine knowledge, and a proven ability to develop teams and deliver results.

The manager is responsible for leading department-level restaurant operations; models and demonstrates leadership that is grounded in the Darden Core Values. Successful performance is measured by consistent delivery of balanced results through our systems, methods, and procedures from the perspective of all our stakeholders. This leads to sustained growth in sales and profits achieved through personal, people, business and results leadership.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years, current, salaried management experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant


• Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and guest service


• Proven ability to develop team


• Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes that contribute to great execution
