Job Opportunity: Restaurant Manager

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to join a leading company located in the Rochester, NY surrounding area.

Salary Range: $41,600 - $62,400

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cleanliness, and efficiency. They will ensure compliance with food safety standards and lead hiring, training, and staff development.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, health regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot restaurant equipment.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment aligned with company culture and values.
  • Schedule and manage employee shifts for adequate coverage.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Provide high-quality service and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Lead by example in hospitality and customer-first approach.
  • Monitor sales, labor costs, and profitability.
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue and efficiency.
  • Analyze financial reports for improvements.
  • Support local marketing and community engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate catering and special events.
  • Ensure food safety standards are maintained.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections to uphold quality and cleanliness.
Basic Hiring Criteria
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the service industry.
  • Financial management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
