This is a full-time, hands-on management position at our popular BBQ restaurant in Chicago’s Old Irving Park neighborhood. What You’ll Do
  • Recruit, hire, and train front and back of house staff
  • Create and manage weekly staff schedules
  • Monitor labor costs to meet budget targets
  • Maintain food safety and quality standards
  • Handle daily cash operations and reports
  • Lead performance reviews and coaching
  • Address guest issues with a service-forward approach
  • Manage cleanliness and organization in FOH and BOH
  • Minimize waste and identify cost-control opportunities
  • Ensure completion of daily opening/closing procedures
  • Support the General Manager and ownership team as needed
What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a hands-on management style, and leads by example.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (current)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and POS systems
  • Open availability, including weekends (Friday-Sunday required)
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proven ability to build and retain strong teams
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Passion for hospitality and BBQ
