Hot Chi is a hip-hop-loving, Instagram-forward, fun-loving gang that works hard and gets busy making Chicago-style, Nashville Hot Chicken with a Middle Eastern flair. The General Manager plays a key role in this, working closely with the owners to achieve labor, food, and sales goals. The General Manager should run the store as if it were their own, both in the front and back of house.

What you’ll do

  1. Leadership & Staff Management: including hiring, firing, and holding staff accountable.
  2. Facility Management: ensuring all equipment is functioning and clean, monitoring store cleanliness and organization, handling minor concerns, and reporting major concerns to owners.
  3. Inventory Management: ordering all inventory, ensuring successful delivery, sending invoices to accountants, and reconciling food costs on the P&L sheet daily.
  4. Financial Responsibilities: reconciling cash-outs, deposits, withdrawals, tip handling, and bi-weekly payroll processing.
  5. Customer Experience: tasting line items regularly, checking food on the pass for aesthetics, portion, and cleanliness, and coaching staff to meet service standards.
  6. Living out our Core Values and modeling them for staff.

What you need

  • High school Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Google Suite programs.
  • At least three years of restaurant management experience.
