Job summary

McDonald’s Austin restaurant is seeking a Maintenance Person to support cleanliness and equipment upkeep across the dining area and back-of-house. This role contributes to a safe, functional, and inviting environment for guests and crew, with on-site responsibilities and shift-based expectations.

The Maintenance Person’s duties include fryer oil filtering, grounds upkeep, cleaning equipment and spaces, unloading deliveries, trash removal, bulb changes, and HVAC/exhaust cleaning.

Qualifications

• Assist with interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness.
• Support maintenance tasks daily and as assigned.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck twice a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris.
