Job summary

Wendy in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep kitchen equipment, systems, and facilities in excellent working condition. You will perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and handle repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety and quality.

This role requires hands-on technical skills, flexibility for on-call weekends, and the ability to work with a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure.
• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and repair malfunctioning kitchen equipment, appliances, lighting, plumbing, and other systems to ensure minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the restaurant’s physical environment is well-maintained, including repairing or replacing broken fixtures, doors, windows, flooring, and other structural components.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety, health, and sanitation.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring that all necessary tools, parts, and materials are readily available.
• Coordination & Communication: Communicate regularly with restaurant management to understand the status of equipment and facilities and to prioritize maintenance tasks.
